Sage advice for copywriters as well; learning the design do’s & don’ts printers expect is something us writers too often pass along to the design side, and wonder why our cut of the fee isn’t larger! Thx for sharing

Great advice, Vanita. I especially like how you recommend to always evaluate the test print in the same manner the sign will be displayed. That’s a great tip! As someone who works {somewhat} in graphic design, I can tell you that educating myself as much as possible on the printing process helped me a great deal in working with new printers. This is a great article and one I’ll be sure to pass along to newbie graphic designers/marketers. Well done!

LoL! I don’t know about going global. We prefer to offer our clients boutique style service, would be pretty difficult doing so globally. But the benefits of reaching out to local NYC clients is just too much to resist!
